New Delhi: In a bizarre incident, passengers of an Air India flight from Chennai to Male were made to wait for over two hours because the flight commander refused to fly without a certain woman co-pilot. The airline has ordered a probe."On the issue of the recent incident on (Air India flight) from Chennai to Male via Thiruvananthapuram where the pilot refused to fly without a particular co-pilot," Air India Chairman and Managing Director Ashwani Lohani said. Flight AI 263 with 110 passengers onboard was stalled at the Chennai airport on Wednesday morning after the commander allegedly insisted for the particular woman pilot to operate the aircraft with him.
