Anantnag (Jammu and Kashmir): Three Border Security Force (BSF) jawans were killed and seven others injured when their convoy attacked by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Bijbehara on Friday.

Initial reports suggested that the attack left five jawans injured, out of which two later succumbed to their injuries. The condition of the other three was said to be serious.

Latest reports state that three jawans have died while seven have been left injured.

The terrorists, who were travelling in car, were stopped at a check-post, and as the BSF convoy passed the check-post, terrorists opened fire resulting in the causalities.

The BSF has cordoned-off the area and launched a massive combing operation.
