Apart from promising a fight against corruption, drugs, prostitution and casinos, the AAP on Monday promised to provide affordable fish in Goa, a state known for its seafood.

Launching a Goa Dialogues Programme, Aam Aadmi Party leader Ashish Khetan, vice chairman of the Delhi Dialogues Commission, also said that preserving Goa's heritage and identity, improving sanitation, creating jobs and upping its public infrastructure were some of the key issues which would be a part of the agenda of the Goa Dialogue.

Providing "affordable fish" to Goans is one of the 25 issues which have been listed by Khetan among the 25 promises to Goa's electorate which will be deliberated by the Goa Dialogues.

"Goa is sick and tired of the politics of betrayal. Goans are sick and tired of politicians who have done u-turns on every major issue of Goa. Goa is tired of the political party which promised action against those mining companies which had looted Goa to the tune of Rs.35,000 crore but after coming into power joined hands with them," Khetan said.

He made the comments while unveiling the Goa Dialogues programme.

"For the first time, Goans will draw up their own manifesto and agenda of governance," he said.

"To achieve this, the AAP will have a dialogue with every section, every locality and every region of Goa.

"Through Goa Dialogues, Goans will conceive a Goa of their aspiration and dreams," Khetan said.
