Karnataka: Teenager wakes up, minutes before cremation
In a shocking incident that took place in a village in Karnataka, a 17 year old was presumed dead and reportedly came back to life when the villagers were on the way to his funeral.
In a shocking incident that took place in a village in Karnataka, a 17 year old was presumed dead and reportedly came back to life when the villagers were on the way to his funeral.
Identified as Kumar Marewad, the teenager was bitten by a stray dog, one month back. He was even admitted to a hospital in Dharwad last week after his temperature increased and was put on ventilator after his condition worsened.
While Kumar's family was informed of his critical condition making his chances of survival bleak, the doctors also said that the infection had spread in his body and asked them to decide whether they wanted to continue the treatment.
Kumar’s relatives presumed him to be dead once they noticed no signs of breathing or body movement. They soon made arrangements of his funeral and were on the way to perform his last rites. However, Kumar suddenly woke up minutes before cremation shocking everyone. He was rushed immediately to a private hospital.
