VIT Chennai valedictory concludes
The annual, cultural and sports festival of VIT ChennaiVibrance19 was concluded on Saturday Feb 23 on a grand note On the third day, the valedictory ceremony was graced by the famous music director, film producer and actor GV Prakash along with VIT VicePresident G V Selvam and Pro ViceChancellor Dr N Sambandam
Chennai: The annual, cultural and sports festival of VIT Chennai-Vibrance’19 was concluded on Saturday (Feb 23) on a grand note. On the third day, the valedictory ceremony was graced by the famous music director, film producer and actor GV Prakash along with VIT Vice-President G V Selvam and Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr N. Sambandam.
GV Prakash predominantly scored music for Tamil films and in his address he said that festivals at VIT are great and it is a dream of many skilled performers to perform at VIT. He then interacted with the students and answered the questions on his personal and professional life.
He said that he is fortunate to be with famous music director A.R.Rahman from his childhood. Prizes were given away for the events by the chief guest. The overall Championship for cultural events was won by Manipal Institute of Technology. Vibrance’19 brought in massive participation of 4500 students for 115 events from 210 institutions across India promoting inter-collegiate relations.
