The Issue of conversions always sparks tension in the country. Religion Conversions in India Forcible or Willing? Although according to the Constitution, a person can practice any religion, no one can force them to convert to another religion.

However, one can find that conversions are going on rampantly with no anti conversion law and other loopholes in the system. With foreign funds at their disposal, Christian missionaries always induge in conversions and even Pope many a times gives call to convert people and singled out India to reach his mission.

Even in holy shrines like Tirupathi conversions are common. Conversions from Hindus, Muslims and Christians into various religions are common. But there is very a thin line which separate forcible and willing conversions.Recently, many muslim families were converted into Hinduism. The Opposition parties alleged saffronisation. Pro BJP organisations say opposition wakes up to the conversion issue only when people convert to Hinduism. But when the Hindus are forcibly converted they remain mute spectators.
So on this sensitive issue, better not to whip up passions but to enact a strict anti coversion law banning conversions in any form.
