Modi practices Good Samaritan politics

“Talk good and act good” is the Modi mantra of politics. None will be your criticizer so long as you preach all morals such as love your neighbor,clean your house and street, treat every one as god, respect elderly people, work hard to develop your house and also the country so on so forth. ‘People’s mandate of 2 general elections is required to show some thing to the nation is what BJP now tells to the electorate of India. Minimum of 10 years of Swachch Bharat Abhiyan is to be done to clean India from congress misrule and debacles is the recent talk of BJP spokesman.

Falling crude prices has come as blessing in disguise to newly elected BJP government. BJP is counting its days of luck that has come in its favour in the shape of falling crude oil prices. Many state elections and bye elections are being fought taking the credibility of falling petroleum prices. Modi is tight lipped now a days as falling inflation, falling prices of gold and other commodities are just happening on their own and working good for BJP and partymen are attributing all this to his work. Modi is neither condemning or owning this as his merit as he knows that this does not last long. He is maintaining silence as if people will understand it as “wise men only act do not talk”.

Congress party is on the other hand is not been able to find time to study and criticize the policies of government as its own house is not in order. All senior politicians slowly dis appearing from the media attention and looking either for opportunities or saving their skin by not talking too much on the ruling party and invite problems to themselves. After all they know the rules of the game that they have played for more than 5 decades in Independent India. If congress party adopts this silence for long people will slowly forget the party which will become suicidal. Leaders of senior stature such as Chidambaram, AK Antony , Anandsharma, Sheila Dixit, who are at the helm of affairs for long time since the time of Mrs Indira Gandhi are now behind the curtains and not at all making noise. Is it an order from high command or these leaders are avoiding the congress? Party is loosing state after state and the 50 years of party making is getting bulldozed in a span of 1 year. Reconstruction of party is a herculean task for the present leadership. Even in the parliament there is no construction opposition and debate on Modi government policies except stalling the house with petty matters. The argument that Congress party is giving the new government to take stand and make mistakes to commence the criticism is not worth as Modi government is going ahead announcing so many policy decisions such as industrial corridors, make in India policy, major policy changes in educational system so on so forth. But the opposition parties including communists are not been able to highlight these issues in the public forums. Opposition parties in India are now in the leadership crisis due to family legacy. Congress party could not master the art of winning the hearts of the nation being in opposition as they never seriously observed the opposition while they are in command. Congress party is failing to respond briskly on the policies of the new government and there is no one taking keen interest in studying the implications of government policies on common man. For example wooing the foreign investors to come and invest in India in various sectors is slogan of new government. But why the foreign investor comes to India? Even if he comes to India he will see his business proposition right and makes them packs them back. How do you think that they will generate huge employment in India? U.S. on its own troubling with unemployment. How can you expect them to come to India and make goods and sell here. Every one makes announcements about investments but Its not that easy to bring investment in to the country and establish projects. How can government issue licences to set up big infra projects in a month’s time, even if you have infrastructure to study under stand the repercussions of the project, is there any provision to cancel the licences in case the manufacturer or licence does the job against the vision of the country? There are so many questions that are to be pointed out and checked up on. But the opposition is unable to focus on the policies of the government.
