Nizamabad: A resident of Tadwai mandal, Ramesh (28), the third son of Ramulu and Poshamma, was killed in the City Light Hotel building collapse on RP Road, Secunderabad along with ten others on Monday morning. He had gone to the hotel to have tea for 'relaxation'. Even as he was sipping tea, the building suddenly caved in. The body of Ramesh was retrieved from the debris by local residents, police and rescue team members.
He had gone to Hyderabad in search of livelihood. After working as a lorry driver, the young man was eking out a living driving a car. Ramesh is survived by wife Rajamani and three children. His parents, agriculturists, said they had not even imagined their son would be buried alive in the incident. They appealed to the government to rescue the bereaved family.
