Nizamabad: In-Charge Collector K Harshavardhan inspected government hospitals and schools in Jukkal Assembly constituency in the district on Tuesday. Expressing his dissatisfaction over the absence of doctors at hospitals, he initiated disciplinary action against the irregular doctors and other employees.
During his visit to Area Hospital at Madnur, he verified the attendance register and came to know that two doctors Devi Singh and Hamithkumar were absent for their duties for some days. He directed the officials to take action against the two doctors and also suspended two Fourth Class employees Iqbal Ahmed and Mansoor for their regular absence.
He inspected the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Jukkal mandal headquarters and spoke to some of the patients. He also inspected the Kasturba Gandhi Girls School near the PHC. The the In-Charge Collector directed the engineers of the school building to complete the construction at the earliest so that the school can be shifted to the new building. Later, Mr Harshavardhan inspected the Anganwadi Centre and Upper Primary School at Khandeballur in Jukkal mandal. He interacted with the students at the school. Teachers would be posted in the existing vacancies, he assured.
Then the I-C Collector held a review meeting with the engineers and panchayat officials at R & B Guest House at Banswada. He directed the officials to take measures for maintaining sanitation in villages. Tahsildars, MPDOs, teachers, MEOs and others were present during his visit.
