Vijayanagaram: The curfew has been frozen for 14 hours in Vijayanagaram, as the prevailing situation in Vijayanagram has been quite normal. The ongoing curfew has been frozen from 6 a.m to 8 p.m. on Sunday. The Vijayanagarm collector, Kanti Lal Dande on Sunday spoke to the media and said if no unwanted incidents takes place on Sunday, it is likely that the curfew would be lifted from Monday onwards. He said he would conduct a review meeting with concerned officials in concern with this matter.

It is evident that for last few days there was a strong protest in Vijayanagram, to keep the state united. The protest intensified and became uncontrollable, due to which the curfew was imposed in Vijayanagaram. From 5th Oct onwards, curfew has been imposed in Vijayanagram.
