Who is responsible for this mess?

Which political party has ruled the State for a maximum period? Except the Congress and Telugu Desam parties, no other party has ruled the State so far and it is only the Congress which has ruled the State for almost three decades since its inception.

That is, 1st November1956 and more than four decades in the entire history of AndhraPradesh State. It was the same Congress party under the leadership of the late Indira Gandhi who crushed the demand for separate Telangana state in 1969 and even adopted Mulki rule for some period.

Today, it is the same Congress party at the Centre under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi, has declared the separate State on the grounds that Telangana is lacking development and backward in most of the sectors. Will the Congress accept that it has failed to do justice to the people of Telangana? Accepting bifurcation of the state will be permanently recorded in the history of Andhra Pradesh that the Congress has not developed Telangana region and indeed has neglected the people of the region for decades together. It is the Congress party to shoulder the responsibility of dividing the Telugu people on the basis of its lacking governance.
