Speed up road restoration works in Guntur, officials told
Guntur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Srikesh B Lahkar has said that roads restoration should be a continuous process and he will inspect the works even at 1 am if need be, to assess the progress
Guntur: Guntur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Srikesh B Lahkar has said that roads’ restoration should be a continuous process and he will inspect the works even at 1 am if need be, to assess the progress.
He inspected roads restoration works at Mutyalareddy Nagar, AT Agraharam, NGOs Colony, Vidyanagar, AT Agraharam in Guntur on Sunday.
Speaking on this occasion, he said that there is need to speed up roads restoration works in the city for smooth flow of the traffic. Interacting with the officials at Venkataramana Nagar, he directed the officials to maintain quality and standards in the road works.
He inspected UGD works at Venkataramana Nagar. He instructed the officials to remove slush on the road and then take up road works. He instructed them to execute culvert approach road works. He informed that he had taken up road restoration works in 172 kms in the city.
