Indefinite fast

Parchur (Prakasam): The indefinite fast by YSR Congress Party supporters Gottipati Bharat, Podili Raghava, Yaddanapudi Hari and Raja Nayak entered the second day on Sunday. The agitators objected to the contention of Congress AP Affairs in-charge Digvijay Singh that late YSR had initiated the Telangana State process. It was YSR who managed to stall the creation of the Telangana, they claimed. kAt Bommala centre here, members of Arya Vysya community registered their protest against Telangana by cleansing the statue of ‘Amarajeevi’ Potti Sriramulu with milk. They also burnt effigy of KCR.
