Marriage with short men lasts longer

Washington:: A new study has suggested that short men stay married for a longer period of time whereas tall men tend to marry more quickly.

According to the authors, the study further confirmed an existence of height-based status exchange in which short men compensated for their lower physical status with higher proportional earnings, Discovery News reported.

Authors felt that while tall men appeared more likely to use their status to attract women with higher relative earnings.

Short men also tend to be better educated than their partners, suggesting that they were compensating for their stature in other areas. (ANI)
