London: A new survey has found that one in four Britons gets back in touch with their first love and one in three still carries try to find back their first love.
The study conducted by 'The Best of Me', a film about a couple who give first love a second chance, demonstrated that nearly four out of 10 admit to still carrying a torch for their teenage sweetheart, the Daily Express reported.
A spokesman for the film said that many look back more fondly at a first love than other failed relationships, leaving many wondering what might have been and, possibly, what could still be.
According to the study, twelve per cent of those who stay in touch with a first love consider them a good friend, although a third admit their partner does not know and most would be suspicious.
