It will be an interesting battle when Sunrisers Hyderabad hosts Delhi Daredevils for what is undoubtedly a decisive outing for each of them at the RGICS A here on Saturday.

Both have had contrasting results in the championship. If Sunrisers had a dream debut and a lovely win-sequence thereafter, Daredevils have bounced rather steadily since losing the initial matches miserably. Ironically, even as Daredevils got its winning act together, Sunrisers had the ignominy of losing three consecutive matches.A However, the host will be on a psychological high following their resounding seven-wicket win over fancied Mumbai Indians on Wednesday.

The visiting team tasted success of the extraordinary kind when David Warner and Unmukt Chand came together to present defending champion Kolkata Knight Riders a seven-wicket drubbing. In effect, both Daredevils and the Riders are now on par with each other on the points table with three wins apiece.

If Daredevils have six points from ten matches, Sunrisers have aggregated 12 from its ten outings. In fact, Sunrisers are alongside MI in the table. Moreover, they have the inherent home advantage where they have won all their matches. In hindsight the batting is still pitiable as only Shikar Dhawan has been good till date with G Hanuma Vihari performing only in patches. It will once again be the bowlers who need to perform.

Warner and Chand will be hoping to do an encore while Virender Sehwag will be praying to come into the reckoning. If Dale Steyn returns to form after a disastrous showing last time, then the Sehwag-Steyn battle could provide the excitement the spectators would expect of a close T20 battle.

Sunrisers have two advantages in their favour-the ground, which has proved lucky and the mauling of Mumbai Indians. Daredevils will hope that the presence of Viv Richards would prove lucky all over again.
