Dhawan returns to Test squad; no place for Sehwag, Gambhir, Harbhajan
Opener Shikhar Dhawan, who is having an excellent outing against the Australians in the ODIs, has returned to the Test squad for the series against West Indies, replacing Suresh Raina. The selectors further stated that Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out due to shoulder strain. Leg-spinner Amit Mishra replaces him.
The selection committee said that they have not opted for Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir and Harbhajan Singh. The series is the farewell series for the maestro Sachin Tendulkar who has announced his retirement after his 200th Test.
Shami Ahmed, Umesh Yadav and Rohit Sharma are also included for the two Test series against West Indies.
