The Commonwealth Games gold-medallist pair brushed aside Germany's Anika Dorr and Annika Horbach 21-14, 21-11 in a 23-minute match last night.
Bronze-medallist at the 2011 London World Championship, Jwala and Ashwini rode on their powerful smashes and better net play to annihilate Anika and Annika.
They will next take on fourth-seeded Malaysian pair of Hui Ern Ng and Hui Lin Ng in the next round.
