Sachin is emotionally intelligent, says Anjali

For most of the people, Sachin Tendulkar and cricket are synonymous. It is far beyond imagination to visualize Sachin without cricket. His family members are not an exception to this. Sachin’s wife Anjali Tendulkar told to Harsha Bhogle on Saturday at Wankhade stadium that she could imagine cricket without Sachin, but I couldn’t imagine Sachin without cricket. She said for last one moth they had a tough time thinking of of the final day in Sachin’s career. She said it will be difficult for them to imagine Tendulkar without cricket.

Anjali Said from one end she feels glad that her husband will be back home, while from the other end she feels sad that he won't be doing for what his life is dedicated to. Anjali, who is a doctor by profession kept her career on hold to stay home and brought up their kids: Arjun and Sara.

She saw a flaw finder in Sachin and said he has a knack for finding faults and quoted the example of his worry for smaller things like peeled wall painting etc; She said Sachin is emotionally intelligent . But, she said, however, he became emotional and tears rolled down his eyes when India lifted the World Cup here at the same venue in 2011.

She said Sachin was pleased to see his son as a ball boy on the second day of hid final test match on Friday and recollected his memories of being a ball boy at the same venue during the 1987 World Cup.

Anjali said, "Arjun is among the Mumbai U-14 probables. He had a Harris Shield match on Friday and his father told him that he cannot miss the match at any cost. So Arjun went to the play his school match but found that the other opponents haven't turned up. And so he rushed to the stadium and in the meanwhile his coach had already got the accreditation. So Tendulkar was pleasantly surprised to see Arjun as a ball boy,"

When questioned about the life after Sachin’s retirement, Anjali said now he would be able to give some time to his family.
