In August 2010, India were ranked 13 – their best ever stand in FIFA ranking since then.
National coach Stephen Constantine was delighted by the rise but wasn't willing to read too much into it. India were ranked 171st when Constantine took over as Constantine spoke of the impact the national team has made after focus made on injecting youth into the squad.
