JKAI Natl karate in Hyderabad
The 34th JKA India National Karate Championship-2017 will be conducted at the Indoor Stadium in Gachibowli here from January 23 to 26.
Hyderabad: The 34th JKA India National Karate Championship-2017 will be conducted at the Indoor Stadium in Gachibowli here from January 23 to 26. Approximately 817 participants from across 25 States will be vying for glory in the event, which will have competitions for different age-groups from eight to 21 years.
This was disclosed at a press conference here on Monday by chief instructor JKAI (TS) Rapolu Sudershan and Technical Director JKAI Sensei Dayanand Kumar. The event will be inaugurated by State Sports Minister T Padma Rao Goud in the presence of eminent instructors, who are coming all the way from Japan and the United States of America, including Shihan Kawawada Minoru, Sensei Nemoto Keisuke and Shihan Anand Ratna.
They said that the championship will also be significant because diploma exams for black belts 1 to 6 and international grading exams, referee, examiners exam will also be held concurrently.
