Hyderabad: The country’s top golfers and some from abroad will be seen in action in the third edition of the Golconda Masters Golf Championship, which will be held at the Hyderabad Golf Club (HGC) from February 16 to 19,
Hyderabad: The country’s top golfers and some from abroad will be seen in action in the third edition of the Golconda Masters Golf Championship, which will be held at the Hyderabad Golf Club (HGC) from February 16 to 19,
Carrying prize-money of Rs 40 lakh and jointly organised by Hyderabad Golf Association (HGA) and the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), the event has attracted the participation of 126 golfers, from across the country and also some from Sri Lanka and Australia, according to J Vikramdev Rao, President of HGA.
Vying for top honours will be Khalin Joshi, Honey Baisoya, Ajeetesh Sandhu, Harendra Gupta, Mukesh Kumar, Shamim Khan, Shankar Das, Himmat Singh Rai and Udayan Mane from India while those from the island-nation will be Mithun Perera, Anura Rohana, N Thangaraja and K Prabagaran and Australia’s Kunal Bhasin.
C Dayakar Reddy, Captain, HGA said that Hyderabad will be represented by Haider Hussain, Anantha Sridhar Reddy, C Rohan Reddy, K Shashidhar Reddy, Hardik Chawda, Rahul Ajay and Sankeerth Nidadavolu.
