In Womens 100M Hurdles challenge Nayana James’s performed splendidly, to finish first. After winning a gold medal in the Long Jump category, she impressed here again.She completed the race in 13.96 seconds ahead of AnkitaGosavi and Prajna S Prakash.
WOMEN’S 400M
In Women’s 400 m category gold medal was secured by Nirmala from Haryana as she also set Meet record at 51.28 seconds. PoovammaRaju from Karnataka and DebashreeMazumdar from Bengal finished close at second and third place.
WOMEN’S 100M
In Women’s 100m category, the crowd witnessed fiercely fought contest between Dutee Chand and Srabani Nanda. As anticipated, Dutee finished first, clocking 11.48 seconds. Merlin K.Joseph from Kerala secured third place.
WOMEN’S JAVELIN THROW
Women’s Javelin competition, turned out to be a delight for the fans, as Annu Rani From Uttar Pradesh, set the National Record and Meet Record by throwing over 61.86M. This is her 7thstraight gold in this competition. She has also qualified for the IAAF World championships.
