Telangana State shooting from Monday
Around 400 shooters from various districts besides from neighbouring States will be seen in action in the fourth Telangana State Shooting Competitions be held at SATS Shooting Ranges in Gachibowli here from Sunday.
Hyderabad: Around 400 shooters from various districts besides from neighbouring States will be seen in action in the fourth Telangana State Shooting Competitions be held at SATS Shooting Ranges in Gachibowli here from Sunday.
The four-day event will be the qualifying round for the Pre-Nationals. Competitions will be held in air, small bore and shotgun events. Shooters from army, police and forest departments are expected to the top guns.
Amit Sanghi, President of Telangana Riffle Association (TRA), which is hosting the championship told reporters here on Friday that top honours will be up for grabs in 10 mtrs. Air-Riffle/Pistol, 25 mtrs pistol and 50 mtrs Rifle Pistol events in 89 disciplines, including for youth, junior, senior and veteran categories in both men and women sections.
DGP Anurag Sharma will give away prizes on July 5 in the presence of the Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Sports Authority of Telangana State (SATS) A Dinakar Babu.
