V Ashrith and K Shreshtha Reddy reigned supreme by bagging the gold in the Under-13 category with exceptional showing in the Hyderabad Hunters Junior Championship at the Pullela Gopichand Badminton Academy (PGBA) here on Wednesday
Hyderabad: V Ashrith and K Shreshtha Reddy reigned supreme by bagging the gold in the Under-13 category with exceptional showing in the Hyderabad Hunters Junior Championship at the Pullela Gopichand Badminton Academy (PGBA) here on Wednesday.
It was a golden double for Ashrith, who won the boys singles title after staved-off a gritty challenge from Srirag Sangishetty and later partnering T Sai Prasad clinched the doubles category. Shreshtha and A Shikhaa won the girls doubles crown.
CEO of Hyderabad Hunters, Dr VRK Rao said that in order to boost their morale and also give the competitive edge to the event, they had earmarked Rs 50,000 in prize-money.
