In the 18 category, Aviral Tiwari sends Gandhi packing 2111 to clinch the mens singles crown while the duo of Ambati Kishore and Srisailam bagged the doubles title with a 3023 win over Jayanarayan Rayaraoth, Praveen at the Goldslam Sports 3rd Corporate Badminton Ranking Tournament held at NVK Sports Arena in Kondapur
Hyderabad: In the 18+ category, Aviral Tiwari sends Gandhi packing 21-11 to clinch the men’s singles crown while the duo of Ambati Kishore and Srisailam bagged the doubles title with a 30-23 win over Jayanarayan Rayaraoth, Praveen at the Goldslam Sports 3rd Corporate Badminton Ranking Tournament held at NVK Sports Arena in Kondapur.
Antony along with Gangadhar overcame stiff resistance from Jayanarayan Rayaraoth and Rajasekhar Alamanda before winning the first game 15-11 in the 35+ men’s doubles final. Antony and his partner played consistently while their opponents found the going tough and were bundle out at 15-5 to clinch the title.
Gandhi finished on top while Keshav Goud takes the second spot in the 35+ men’s singles. In another round robin format 18+ mixed doubles, the pair of Bharath and ThenMouzhi take the first place while Gandhi, Deekshika had to settle for second place.
Lalithanand was the chief referee for the tournament.
