Taekwondo Championship kicks off in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The 35th National Sub-Junior Kyorugi and 9th National Sub-Junior Poomsae Taekwondo Championship started at Gachibowli Stadium, Hyderabad with SATS Chairman Allipuram Venkateshwar Reddy inaugurating the event here on Monday.
Venkateshwar Reddy, the guest of honour, said by indulging in sports events everybody can maintain Good health as well as body fitness.
“I am sure that we will witness the performances of highest quality over the course of this championship. Nearly 500 Players from several States of India are participating in this Championship,” he said.
SATS VC and MD A. Dinakar Babu, Taekwondo Federation of India General Secretary Prabhat Kumar Sharma, Olympic Association president Ranga Rao and General Secretary Prem Raj were also present at this event, the press release said.
