Telangana women’s team to take part in throwball championship
The Telangana Throwball Association here on Tuesday announced the Telangana State Womens team for the 29th Federation Cup Throwball Championship scheduled to be held at Government Sports Stadium, Jind, Haryana from February 23 to 25thThe 17member team will be led by Sreelekha Chowdhary while Siddeshwar Reddy and Vara Lakshmi have been named the coach and team manager respectively, a press relea
Hyderabad: The Telangana Throwball Association here on Tuesday announced the Telangana State Women’s team for the 29th Federation Cup Throwball Championship scheduled to be held at Government Sports Stadium, Jind, Haryana from February 23 to 25th.The 17-member team will be led by Sreelekha Chowdhary while Siddeshwar Reddy and Vara Lakshmi have been named the coach and team manager respectively, a press release said.
The team includes: Sreelekha Chowdary(Captain), Bindu Reddy (Hyderabad), K Sakshi(Medak), D Srihitha(Medak), G Srija(Ranga Reddy), Priya(Adilabad), M Keerthi(Nalgonda), Sree Teja Reddy(Hyderabad), Manasa Vaishnavi(Hyderabad), Tanisha Vasudeva, Nishita Roy(Ranga Reddy), Madhuri(Mahbubnagar), K Manvitha(Karimnagar), K Sneha(Hyderabad), Shravani(Warangal), oujanya(Ranga Reddy) and Kaavya (Nizamabad).
P Jagan Mohan Goud, General Secretary, Telangana Throwball Association and Komu Venkat, Treasurer Telangana Throwball Association distributed playing kits to the players. The three-day event is being organised by the Harayana State Throwball Association under the aegis of Throwball Federation of India.
