Says Drashti Dhami who is giving her best these days, shooting 12 hours for her daily soap 'Madhubala' and then rehearsing for 'Jhalak' Tanuja M hardDrashti Dhami is on a high these days not only is it shaadi time for her in the daily soap 'Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon', she is also in the limelight as a popular participant on 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa'. Wearing a Neeta Lulla design, Drashti looked like the perfect bride as she got ready to take the 'saat-pheras' with the superstar RK in 'Madhubala' which completed one year of existence, and has won the hearts of many. Talking about her happiness on completing one year of 'Madhubala', Drashti says, "My show is my first love and I find it amazing that I have been shooting as Madhubala for the past one year. It feels as if I started to shoot for the show just yesterday." Currently it is dancing on 'Jhalak' that is her real stress-buster, "It is something I enjoy and it makes me feel high! When 'Jhalak' happened to me all of a sudden I was astounded and very happy as well." Now after a 12 hour shift shooting for 'Madhubala' it is a hectic round of rehearsals for 'Jhalak' leaving Drashti with sleepless nights, "However, I'm trying my level best to be fair towards both the shows. 'Jhalak' for me is an opportunity to showcase my dancing skills, learn some new dance forms and ultimately enjoy the journey." Drashti's dance was liked by all in the launch episode of 'Jhalak' last week and she credits all her success to her choreographer Salman Yusuf Khan who was the choreographer for the talented Isha Sharvani last year, "Salman is an amazing choreographer and I feel blessed to have him as my 'Guru'. However, it becomes challenging when I have to give my best and cope up with him. He makes me rehearse late in the night but always manages to get the best out of me even when I am totally exhausted." Talking about dancing on 'Jhalak', Drashti who's favourite dancing style is 'Ganpati dancing,' where one just has to dance passionately with full enthusiasm and energy says, "I wish to learn everything in 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa' Season 6. The judges and the audience are looking up to us with high expectations. So we'll be experimenting with a variety of dance forms, but to be precise, the dance style I'm keen to be skilled is 'Bachata'." Apart from the good scores that she got in the launch episode of 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa' also gave Drashti one more reason to smile. She got a chance to dance with her favourite Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor. "The experience was wonderful. I was so excited that I just went speechless," says a blushing Drashti who also got to strike the famous RK-Nargis pose with the cute Kapoor. Drashti who is all geared up for the competition says that others better watch out as she is putting her best in the show. "I don't think there is any shortcut to success. Everyone is putting in their best so hard work is the only factor that counts. Only hard work pays. That is the ultimate element to win the show!"
