The wait is over!

The most anticipated movie for this summer is going to hit the screens on April 27 and the fans are going crazy over it. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ is a culmination of over 10 years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which started off with Jon Favreau’s ‘Iron Man’ in 2008. ‘…Infinity War’ features around 76 characters and it is one of Marvel’s longest movie.

‘The Avengers’ and the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ team up with other characters introduced within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) like Doctor Strange, Vision, Scarlet Witch, Black Widow, Spider-Man, Black Panther to face the greatest foe yet, Thanos. The war is centred around obtaining six powerful stones known as the Infinity Stones which has the power to destroy the universe.

The MCU is built up in three phases, each ending with a cross-over movie (‘The Avengers’, ‘Age of Ultron’ and ‘The Infinity Wars’). And the ‘…Infinity War’ is the finale of it all (MCU will go on after, but it will be more of a new start) and everything has been building up towards it already from phase one. The infinity stones showed up as early as the first Captain America movie. Thanos is seen in post-credit scenes very early on. He's behind the events of ‘The Avengers’ and has a hand in the events of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1’.

Why is there so much of hype for the movie? One of the reasons being the culmination of heroes and villain being the other reason. Fans cannot wait to see Thanos. He is probably going to destroy the Avengers in cruel ways that will make fans cry in theatres. By the end of the movie, we don’t know what is going to happen as they haven’t revealed the fourth Avengers movie title yet. Marvel has always given out the next movie’s title ahead of time which means that it must contain spoilers of what is going to happen in infinity war.

Due to which fans are curious to know whether they will see their favourite character again or are they going to be dead forever. Just imagine the gasps in the theatre if Thanos killed Iron Man with a punch. They know people assume certain characters will survive because of sequels so they can play with that if they have a resurrection concept in the fourth movie such as using the time stone to go back and save them.

One interesting fact about the Infinity War is that the cast was given a fake script before filming. "We put a lot of effort into making sure nobody knows the true story of the film," Joe Russo said in an interview with Games Radar. "All the actors were given fake scripts. Very few people have seen the actual film itself," he said.

Paul Bettany, who plays the Vision in the film, confirmed that all the actors spent time rehearsing with scripts "that had fake scenes in it, fake twists in it and fake storylines." This was all done so that there would be no spoilers.

However, with so many things happening in one movie, one can only wait to see what happens as the movie has promised the fans that they haven’t seen anything like this before.
