Next week an update to Samsung’s wearables app has involuntarily revealed an entire lineup of new products that are most probably set to be uncovered along with the Galaxy S10.
The Galaxy Wearable app for Android, previously known as Samsung Gear, now exhibits so many new products on the front page including wireless earbuds, a smartwatch, and a fitness band. The update was noticed by Twitter account SamCentralTech.
The Galaxy Watch Active is on top of the list and appears to be the same sports-centred smartwatch that recently leaked under the supposed name Galaxy Sport. According to the app, it has a 40mm case and available in two colours. However, no other details are disclosed about the new head-on image and no additional clues about how Samsung will replace its traditional rotating-bezel UI.
Next comes two fitness bands with watch-style rubber straps the Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Fit e. Last month the “Galaxy Fit e” name was leaked through Bluetooth certification, but we’re seeing the product for the first time. Though it’s not clear what the “e” letter signifies or how the non-e model will vary from this.
On February 20th Samsung’s Galaxy S10 event is happening in San Francisco.
At last, we have official confirmation of the Galaxy Buds, Samsung’s new wireless earbuds. Those are said to be charged wirelessly from the Galaxy S10 itself and these have leaked a couple of times earlier.
