Vodafone rolls out Red iPhone Forever Plan
Vodafone countrys leading telecom operator has launched a new plan for its postpaid subscribers called as RED iPhone Forever plan it is a monthly plan of Rs 649 specially targeted at iPhone users throughout the country

New Delhi: Vodafone country's leading telecom operator has launched a new plan for its postpaid subscribers called as RED iPhone Forever plan; it is a monthly plan of Rs 649 specially targeted at iPhone users throughout the country. The plan also offers an 'iPhone Forever Program' beside data and calling benefits, where the Vodafone postpaid users will get upgrades and replacement for iPhones.
Vodafone RED iPhone Forever of Rs 649, the plan gives 90GB data with unlimited local and national calling every month. The data also provide the rollover facility, which means that the unused data of this month will be rolled over to the next month. Other than the mentioned benefits, the customers will also get free access to Vodafone Play and one year of annual Amazon Prime membership.
Terms and conditions of the program
Under the Vodafone iPhone Forever program from Vodafone, the iPhone 5s and above models are covered. Under this program, the iPhone modes which are less than 18 months old are eligible for replacement, upgrade and repair. The iPhone models which are older than 18 months are eligible only for upgrade and repair.
This program also covers accidental, physical and fluid damage. In case of damage claim as the handling fee the users’ just need to pay Rs 2,000. In order to avail the offer users can also download the iPhone Forever app on their iPhones.
The users who prefer to upgrade the iPhone under this plan will have to pay only the differential cost for the new iPhone. The differential cost is the cost of the new iPhone minus the value of the old iPhone.
For the Idea iPhone users also the same plan is available. The difference is for Idea users the plan is known as Nirvana Rs 649 postpaid plan.
Airtel's iPhone buyback plan
Vodafone's competitor telecom operator Airtel also offer a plan for its subscribers. Under the Airtel iPhone Program, the customers who purchase the iPhone XR and iPhone X will get the plan of Rs 3,499 from the telco. The Rs 3,499 Airtel plan offers unlimited local and national calling and a total of 100GB data. Besides this, the plan also covers the monthly EMI of the handset and gives accidental damage cover too. As part of the plan, the Airtel customers will also get a free annual subscription for Amazon Prime and 3 months subscription for Netflix.
