Washington: Sony has rolled out an affordable tabletop hi-fi system, priced at 150 dollars, which is inclusive of two-way bookshelf speakers connected to an attractively styled combo CD player/iPod dock/FM tuner/stereo amplifier.

Sony Introduces An Affordable Hi-Fi System
The Sony CMT-MX500i is a three-piece system comes with a full-function remote and its amplifier's bass and treble controls allow for on-the-fly tonal balance changes.
According to Cnet, the system's iPod dock uses the classic Apple 30-pin connector and most of the older Apple Devices will be compatible with it.
The report added that the system can create a room-filling stereo image, but doesn't have a turntable input and users can enjoy tunes at home without relying on a computer.
