Sony to Launch Underwater “Xperia Aquatech” Store in Dubai in December
SONY Brand well known for its Waterproof Series SmartPhones and Tablets is now Opening World’s first Xperia Aquatech Store in Dubai on 3 December 2014. This underwater store is located on the seabed, four metres below the surface. Apparently, trained divers will escort shoppers to its underwater shop where people will “be able to stand on the seabed and breathe perfectly normally”

Sony Mobile will open what it says is the World’s first Xperia Aquatech Store in Dubai on 3 December 2014. This underwater store is located on the seabed, four metres below the surface. Apparently, trained divers will escort shoppers to its underwater shop where people will “be able to stand on the seabed and breathe perfectly normally”, while browsing Sony’s water resistant phones, tablets and accessories.
Rüediger Odenbach, Vice President of Sony Mobile Middle East and Africa, says the concept store will offer customers “an exhilarating and unforgettable experience, highlighting Xperia’s passion for innovation in the smartphone market“. Seems like a great way to solidify Sony’s water resistant devices in the mindshare of consumers.
