New app would clean your favourite novel for you

Washington: If you want to read a best-selling novel, but don't like the cuss words in it, this app is for you. The new app called Clean Reader scans books to get rid of any words readers might find "offensive". It comes with three settings - "clean", "cleaner" and "squeaky clean".

The idea struck when they had trouble finding books on their daughter's reading level that didn't contain "pretty significant swear words". That's when the couple decided to make an app that their daughter, and potentially millions of others would use. The app is currently available for free in both the App Store and Google Play.
