Many large battery Android phones were announced in 2015, there are so many for you to choose from. However, it\'s also a pain in the ass to narrow down the options. I\'m interested in the two mid range devices from two competing Chinese companies.

Many large battery Android phones were announced in 2015, there are so many for you to choose from. However, it's also a pain in the ass to narrow down the options. I'm interested in the two mid range devices from two competing Chinese companies. The Elephone P8000 was intriguing because the company can barely keep up the production to meet the market demand. The P8000 sold out immediately right after mass production. The Oukitel K6000 Pro is an interesting device which will be launched early this year. Oukitel has been a conscientious manufacturer ever since it's started. Bring the best using experience to their customers is more important than adding up the specs.

The looks and design
Both phones are heavy and solid in hand, because they all pack relatively large batteries inside. Oukitel K6000 is powered by a 6000mAh Po-li battery and Elephone P8000 uses a 4165mAh battery. None of the batteries are removable.

Display
Many customers were complaining the "huge" bezel on Elephone P8000, I guess the Off-screen aesthetic back fired at Elephone. We took a picture below to show you the difference. Oukitel also has black boarders around the display, but the 2.5D display make it hard to see. Both phones have the FHD 5.5" display, and they all have the capacitive buttons.

Back cover
On the back cover, Oukitel K6000 has the premium looking metallic design, and it's not removable. Classic sandwich design of plastic-metal-plastic. Elephone P8000 packs a removable plastic cover.

Slots
After taking off the back cover on Elephone P8000, we see two SIM card slots and SD card slot. Oukitel, on the other hand, put its SIM slots and SD slot on the side.

Cameras and fingerprint ID
Fingerprint readers are at the back, which I personally found it's much convenient than being at the front. Sensing area on Oukitel K6000 is obviously bigger than what Elephone P8000 has. 13MP cameras are all located at the top mid of the phones, there aren't much difference between the two, but Oukitel K6000 takes a step further with its dual LED flash.
