New Delhi: LeEco, formerly known as Letv, is rolling out the red carpet and making final preparation for its official grand launch on January 20 at Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon.
The multinational internet and technology titan recently has been in the news frequently and it's obvious that company is mulling a big plan for the Indian market.
The news buzz has it that LeEco will be launching two models of its flagship Superphones in India, though only tomorrow will reveal which two Superphones are going to take the Indian market by storm. There is a lot of market speculation about the prices for the smartphones to be released, as many believe that this will be a critical factor.
LeEco, recognized as an industry disruptor, aims to provide users the superb experience of its comprehensive ecosystem and breakthrough technology at disruptive price. The company has sold more than 4 million Le Superphones in 2015 and targets to sell 15 million in 2016. The flagship killers are reportedly powered by the best-in-class processors, all metal unibody, fingerprint sensor and world's leading fast charging technology.
The company is also rumored to rope in the ex-Samsung top executive to head the operation of LeEco in India and it plans to hire 1,000 engineers to build up its second key R&D center in Bangalore, following that established in Silicon Valley for the development of electric car and wide range of ecosystem products. According to reliable sources, the newly appointed country head is likely to attend the launch event tomorrow.
In addition, apparently the company is expecting around 1,000 guests for the event, which would make it one of the largest launch conferences in recent times. They are also said to be live streaming the launch event on Letv.com and other terminals so that the audiences globally and in China could witness an impressive debut of LeEco's cutting-edge products.
