California [United States]: Apple recently introduced the all-new MacBook Pro">MacBook Pro with specially designed keys that are better protected against dust and crumb contamination.
During its teardown session, repair firm iFixit found that each key on the MacBook Pro">MacBook Pro uses a silicone membrane as a shield against dirt, The Verge reported.
While the silicone membrane ensures the keys are guarded against food particles, it also makes the keyboard quieter.
