Hyderabad: KTR, the Information Technology Minister in Telangana state cabinet, on Thursday said that Hyderabad would be turned into a technical city, sooner. He inaugurated the India Gadgets Expo at Hitex in Hyderabad on Thursday. He addressed the crowd in this milieu and said that already an Incubation centre has been established in Hyderabad. He said he would encourage the youth industrialists widely to come forward.
KTR further said that Hyderabad was in the second position in the entire country, as far as the software industry was concerned. He said that a new policy would be implemented concerning the hardware industry in the coming six to eight months period. KTR said that the small scale IT industries would also be encouraged.
KTR also said that in no way the state government was concerned for the ban on TV9 and ABN Andhra Jyothi Channels. He said it was a matter between the channel management and the MSOs.
