Hyderabad: KTR, the IT and Panchayatraj Minister in the Telangana state cabinet, on Friday in Hyderabad, has inaugurated the Indo Global Health Care Summit. He addressed in this milieu and said that Medical tourism would be given the top priority in the state.
KTR said that the efforts were on to turn Hyderabad, the health capital of India. Further, he said that a team led by him would soon visit New Delhi to hold discussions on the matter of increasing the number of seats in medical colleges. He said that other than Hyderabad, nowhere else hospitals of corporate stature were available. Further, he said that twice the funds allotted by the previous governments would be allotted towards the people’s health schemes.
