Hyderabad: KCR, the Chief Minister of Telangana, has put Cabinet expansion on hold as of now. News made rounds that KCR would fill up the vacant 6 minister posts by the end of June. Nevertheless, he was said to have postponed it till July, seemingly busy with administrative matters and also given the strong lobbying. Sources said that KCR plans to expand the cabinet only before the next Assembly Session, likely in July.

It is evident that KCR along with 11 ministers has sworn-in as on June 2, the appointed day of Telangana. According to sources, of the 63 MLAs elected from TRS Party, many number of MLAs eye for the minister post. Also, so far, there has been no representation in the cabinet from both Mahabubnagar and Khammam districts. It is also learnt that Swami Goud has been constantly making calls to KCR, seeking him to induct into his cabinet.

It is learnt that the Chief Minister KCR is keen on representation from all districts, equally. So, surely in this expansion both Mahabubnagar and Khammam districts would get their share. After calculating various factors like caste, creed, district, gender, community et al, the expansion may take place before the second session of the state assembly, added sources.
