Harish Rao: Don’t undertake works to profit contractors

Hyderabad: Harish Rao, the minister for irrigation projects in Telangana state, on Monday asked the officials of all districts to strengthen the minor irrigation projects in their respective districts.

He held a meeting with the district irrigation officials and warned them that nobody would be spared if the work was generated with an intention to get profits for the contractors. He reportedly said strongly that the same mistakes done earlier should not be repeated.
