Doctors Protest on Doctors’ Day at Gandhi Hospital. Coincidentally, the second day of protest undertaken by the Jr doctors at Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad is the International Doctors’ Day. On Tuesday, the strike undertaken by the Junior Doctors continued for the second day.

Already, the OPD services have been stalled. From the other end, the duels between the doctors and the patients at specialist departments have been turning the situation intensifying thorny. The efforts put in by the hospital management to bring them into control were not fruitful. With this prevailing situation, the services at the major hospital in Telangana have become stalled.

It is evident that the duel between a Jr Doctor and the relatives of a patient on Sunday night has been the root cause of their protest.
Somebody made a mistake and rest all are suffering. For people like doctors who are in a noble profession, it’s not fair to neglect the treatment to the patients - that too on their own day!!
