YSRCP Writes To Election Commission. The YSR Congress Party has written to the State Election Commission on Thursday. In that letter the party has urged the Election Commission to prevent the entry of MPs and MLAs, soon after the conclusion of general body meeting, during the MPP ZP Chairmen’s election scheduled for July 4 and 5.

Hyderabad: The YSR Congress Party has written to the State Election Commission on Thursday. In that letter the party has urged the Election Commission to prevent the entry of MPs and MLAs, soon after the conclusion of general body meeting, during the MPP ZP Chairmen’s election scheduled for July 4 and 5. The party has brought into the notice of EC that at few places the kidnapping of the leaders have occurred. The party has further expressed that the MLAs and MPs may influence, if there at the spot of elections.

YSRCP Writes To Election Commission

It is evident that with the abduction of Johny, a Municipality Counsellor of Jammalamadugu in Kadapa district, by the alleged YSR Congress Party leaders, has turned the situation fierce. The family members claim that the YSR Congress Party leaders only have kidnapped Johny. The TDP leaders have made a complaint with the police regarding the kidnapping of Mulla Johny. As many as 1000 activists of the TDP have sit-in for dharna near Municipal Office in Jammalamadugu under the leadership of Ramasubba Reddy, an ex-minister of TDP.

From the other end, Jammalamadugu MLA Adinaryana Reddy and Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy have also reached there, along with the YSR Congress Party activists. In this context, there was a fracas between the two groups. Stones hurled against each other. The entire situation turned vicious. Bowing to the pressure from the situation, the police have opened fire into the air to spread the groups away. More details are awaited.
