Hyderabad: Responding to the Naidu’s proposal for the discussions with his counterpart KCR in Telangana, Harish Rao on Thursday wondered why Chandrababu Naidu didn’t come forward for discussions on the ordinance on inclusion of 7 mandals getting affected with submergence under Polavaram project. He quoted a Telugu proverb in this milieu which literally means the preacher himself opts for the shadowy actions.
Harish Rao addressed the media on Thursday at the state secretariat and said that no sooner the government was formed in the Centre than the ordinance was moved forward for the approval of the president, that too even before the first session of the Lok Sabha.
Harish Rao said though there was a possibility that Telangana was getting a ministry in the Centre the same was opposed by Naidu and disallowed Telangana getting a Union Minister portfolio. He said it was a joke that Naidu is now talking about discussions with Telangana government. He said that it was not prudent to catch the hair if reachable, else touch the feet. He doubted whether there were any of the relatives of Naidu who involved in the encroachment of the Gurukul Trust Lands, as the latter found a fault with the Telangana government in their authentic move.
