Is Hyderabad prepared to face rains?

Hyderabad: The roads in Hyderabad appeared like the lakes, within minutes after the rain fall on Monday night. The low-lying areas are the worst affected areas. The condition of the roads became pathetic soon after the rainfall.

Now the million dollar question that bothers everyone is whether Hyderabad is prepared to face rains. Certainly, it appears negative with the recent evidence. At many places there are unshaded transformers on the road. Also, the manholes and various other excavations carried out by different departments pose another threat. All these collectively make Hyderabad worse for any person during the rainy season. Though it happens every year, no permanent and unyielding solution is sought for this problem as such. The need of the hour is to take adequate measures well in time so that no hindrance is caused during the rainy season.
