Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar RaoHyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday directed senior officials to submit reports on 20-odd issues to be discussed in the upcoming Cabinet meeting by Monday.

He held meeting with Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma and principal secretaries of few key departments in this connection at Secretariat on Saturday. The Telangana Cabinet is slated to meet on July 16 to discuss loan waiver, financial package to Telangana martyrs, withdrawal of cases against Telangana leaders and activists, fees reimbursement, irrigation projects, pension among other things.

The meeting is expected to take a decision on loan waiver scheme after which a key announcement is likely to be made. 'Undertake pilot project in a slum'
Meanwhile, Chandrasekhar Rao directed GHMC commissioner Somesh Kumar to take up a pilot project in a single slum and improve facilities and amenities. This, he said, would give the administration a better perspective on how to go about the challenge of making Hyderabad a slum-free city.

C Parthasarathi (Karimnagar), Rahul Bojja (Warangal), B R Meena (Rangareddy), Somesh Kumar (Hyderabad) etc. will assist respected district collectors in planning and execution of the flagship progamme of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
