Telangana increment stalled?

Since then, the employees have been ahead of KCR for the official announcement of Telangana increment. Nevertheless, the same may not be implemented by the state government in the near future for the government needs a full lucidity over the distribution of employees between the states. According to sources, KCR has opined that if the increment is given now, then it may have to be offered to Seemandhra employees as well. In view of this, the issue has been kept aside for the time being, added sources. Already, the burden on the state exchequer has been worked out - and an estimated extra expenditure of Rs 200cr would be imposed on the state government towards the same.
From the other corner, T Rajaiah, one of the Deputy Chief Ministers of Telangana, has already promised the Telangana doctors that they would be offered promotions once the Andhra Pradesh doctors go back to their home state. On the same track, now, Telangana increment is also put on a hold. So, for the time being there’s no other option for Telangana employees other than waiting.
