Hyderabad: The honeymoon period between the TBJP and the TRS appears to have come to an end. TBJP state president G Kishan Reddy feels that the TRS party does not appear to be coming out of the agitation mode. Reddy feels the TRS instead of maintaining a cordial relationship with the Centre was trying to adopt confrontationist attitude.

He said the State government had made tall promises during the elections but was yet to take any steps to implement them. Instead of resolving contentious issues that involve the neighbouring State of Andhra Pradesh, the TRS government was complicating them.

Referring to the issue of fee reimbursement, he said the KCR government was coming up with new ideas to decide the nativity instead of following the existing norms and rules. This was leading to differences between the two States and was adversely affecting the career of the students.

He alleged the TRS was also not taking necessary measures to interact with the Centre properly and see to that it gets its share of revenue and other such help from it. “There are many issues like power problem and sharing of river waters which need to be sorted out with the help of Centre. But the State government is taking unilateral decisions and is complicating the situation,” he said.

Kishan Reddy said the state BJP has decided to take up agitations against the TRS government if it fails to implement the promises it had made before the elections. He said while the T government was yet to come to grips with administration, the AP government was moving forward and was getting their demands accepted by the Centre.
