Man With 7 Passports Held in Hyderabad. The Hyderabad police on Friday arrested a man from the Bazarghat area on the charge of holding seven passports in different names.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police on Friday arrested a man from the Bazarghat area on the charge of holding seven passports in different names. The accused originally named Wasif Ahmed Iqbal was held by the Personnel of Commissioner's Task Force (West Zone). The accused is learnt to working as a visa agent. He was in allegedly possession of seven passports with the same photograph but different names and dates of birth, according to Additional DCP N Koti Reddy.

The police said that in 2002 the accused visited Australia on a visitor's visa with a fake passport. Due to the rejection of visa by US authorities, he decided to obtain another passport, for which he submitted identity proofs of a fictitious name and address. In 2010, with the fake passports along with his wife he visited Malaysia and Thailand as tourists. In June 2012 they visited Malaysia and South Africa again on fake passports, according to police.
